Didn’t enjoy the flavor, and I’ve eaten the soursop fruit when I was growing up in Puerto Rico! This has an unpleasant aftertaste. Very disappointing.

I tried this for the first time yesterday. As someone who has eaten fresh guanábana many times before, I found the taste quite different from the actual fruit.

I also followed the instructions that were emailed to me for the first pour: I chilled the can, shook it well so the pulp would mix properly, and poured it over ice.

I did like that the juice had real pulp in it, but overall, the flavor seemed a little off to me. Maybe I was expecting too much because I’m very familiar with the taste of fresh guanábana, but for the price, I was hoping for a more authentic guanábana flavor.

It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t taste as much like the fruit as I expected.
